Job Details
- Position / Specialty : Ultrasound Tech - Registered sonographer with RVT certification that performs abdominal, small parts, OB / GYN, breast, vascular imaging and provides sonography guidance for interventional procedures.
- Years of experience REQ : Minimum 1 year experience required.
- First-timers accepted : Yes.
- Is on-call REQ? Yes- 90 minute call back time, call Saturday morning from 7am- Monday morning at 7 am.
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No.
- Open to accommodating block schedule? No.
- Locals accepted : Yes- no radius.
- Pending License accepted : Yes.
- RTO Restrictions : Ideally no more than 5 days.
- Guaranteed Hours : Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned Aya Candidate without any penalty or obligation to pay Aya for such cancelled time.
On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours.
Special Requirements : Required Work Setting Experience : Adult, ER, High Risk OB, ICU, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Portables.
Required Equipment Experience : PACS and Philips. Required General Ultrasound Skills / Experience : Abdominal Aorta, Appendix, Breast, Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Pediatric Abdomen / Pelvis, Spleen.
Required OB / GYN Skills / Experience : 1st Trimester, 2nd Trimester, 3rd trimester, Amniotic fluid index, Fetal Anatomical Survey, and Placenta Previa.
Required Neonatal Ultrasound Experience : Abdomen / Pelvis / Renal / Bladder, Gender, and Spine. Required Procedure Experience : Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, and Ultrasound Guided Biopsy / Fine Needle Aspiration.
Required Renal / Pelvis Experience : Bladder, Hernia, Ovaries, Renal / Bladder, Uterus, Vaginal. Required Small Parts Ultrasound Experience : Breast Cyst Aspiration, Breast Ultrasound, Superficial Masses, Testicles / Scrotum, Thyroid.
Required Vascular Ultrasound Skills / Experience : Aorta, Carotid, Color Flow, Duplex, Lower Extremity Venous. Isolation Precaution Knowledge required.
Epic experience preferred.

- Shift : 5x8s Days 7am-3 : 30pm or 8 : 30am-5pm.
- 2 Rooms.
- Weekend REQ : on call every third weekend.
