Work within the Colorectal Surgery & Urology Unit, providing care and support to patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery.
Utilize your nursing skills to assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to create personalized care plans.
This role is ideal for a compassionate nurse with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Assess patient needs and evaluate their responses to care
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create individualized care plans
- Guide ancillary personnel and maintain professional nursing standards
Minimum Qualifications :
- Graduate of a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Certification in BLS / ACLS / PALS / TNCC
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education
