Job Description

Description

Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists. Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality.

Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate. Positions patient, coils and equipment as required. Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.

American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Non Degree Program : from a approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program. (Required)

Experience

1 Year experience as a Radiology Technologist (Required)

1 Year experience as a MRI Technologist (Preferred)

License / Certifications

RT(R) - Reg Technologist (R) (Required)

BLS - Basic Life Support (Preferred)

RT(R(MR) - Reg Technologist (R) (MR) (Preferred)
