Mechanical Field Service Technician will install, repair, service and provide maintenance of IBS PPG products. This is concerning the equipment to be repaired in our shop & production facility in Chesapeake, Virginia along with mill site visits mainly in North America (Canada, USA, Mexico).
The may be occasional overseas travel.
- Mechanical Technician with 2 or more year’s field maintenance experience. (Engineering Technologist considered an asset but not mandatory)
- Hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting is required.
- Capacity to build confidence with our customers you will be the go-to’ person .
- Maintenance and repair paper industry equipment is an asset. (Training provided)
- Preference and ability to work independently.
- Willing to travel up to 70% of the time. The norm is 3-4 days travel per trip; occasional trip might be longer and can include a weekend and / or holiday.
