Network Engineer, Senior

The Opportunity :

A well-engineered network is critical to effectively handle data and enable organizations to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their evolving needs?

Implementing a network correctly requires a combination of technical skill, proactivity, dedicated execution, and perseverance.

That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to engineer purpose-built networks to meet DoD needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you will help DoD clients modernize, operate, and maintain a deployable datacenter and other networks that support National Security Systems (NSS).

You will work with other like-minded engineers to include Systems, Security, Endpoint, and Software engineers to understand the existing architecture and to then operate, maintain, and secure the network in support of DoD events at CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Furthermore, you will help to modernize the architecture to meet evolving requirements, incorporate new technologies, and scale it to support other clients.

From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to incorporating and configuring advanced technologies, to ensuring a high-level of availability during events, you will put your hardware and software talents to good use.

This is your chance to do the hands-on work required to operate and improve an architecture.

As you join our team of problem-solvers helping DoD clients operate and evolve dynamic solutions, you will apply your expertise in routing and switching, IP and network transport engineering, system interoperability, and data encryption solutions.

Additionally, you will grow your skills by enabling secure data-in-transit (DIT) and data-at-rest (DAR) using Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC), combining traditional networking with virtual networking, extending services across a local area network (LAN) and wireless LAN (WLAN), using public key infrastructure (PKI), maintaining a high system security posture, and developing new skills to meet the needs of the system's design.

Join us as we make secure network solutions a reality! The world can't wait.

You Have :

  • 5+ years of experience with DoD networks
  • Experience with engineering DoD network systems that include Aruba, Cisco, or Juniper network components
  • Experience with configuring and troubleshooting SSL or IPSec Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
  • Experience with hardening and patching network components, especially Aruba and Cisco components
  • Knowledge of static routing, routing protocols, and other network protocols
  • Knowledge of wired LAN using Aruba or similar network components
  • Ability to regularly work at O'ahu client and corporate locations and travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations to operate and maintain network components
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have :

  • Experience with VMware vSphere, ArubaOS, Cisco ASA, and JunOS
  • Experience with implementing certificate-based encryption on network devices and configuring Type-1 encryption devices
  • Knowledge of CSfC capability packages to include registration and implementation
  • Knowledge of virtual routing using VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 Certificates and Certificate Authorities
  • Knowledge of WLAN using Aruba or similar network components DoD 8140 (formerly DoD 8570) certification with CCNP Certification or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
