Vascular Surgeon Duties :
- Identify and diagnose medical conditions through examinations and tests
- Perform surgeries on patients, such as angioplasties and angioplasty
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on arteries, veins, and the heart
Vascular Surgeon Responsibilities :
- Board-certified or board-eligible vascular surgeon
- 2+ years’ surgical experience as a vascular surgeon
- Knowledge of appropriate endovascular therapies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Commitment to patient safety and the highest quality of patient care

Job Requirements
Requirements And Skills :
- Perform all vascular procedures, including open surgeries, thrombectomies, and dialysis access procedures
- Perform technical evaluations and write comprehensive vascular reports
- Evaluate and treat a wide variety of vascular conditions, including arterial blockages, aneurysms, blockages, varicose veins, venous insufficiency, and deep vein thrombosis
- Assist surgeons in the performance of complex vascular surgeries
- Assist in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care of patients
- Perform and document complete vascular evaluations
- Participate in the maintenance of patient records
- Review and approve patient treatment plans
- Interpret and perform as needed
- Contribute to the training of vascular surgery residents and fellows
- Write case studies, perform research, participate in CME activities, and present cases at professional meetings
- Screen candidates, select new staff, train new staff, and work in conjunction with other department heads
