Job Description :
A Certified Nursing Assistant performs many basic care tasks for patients, like grooming, dressing, bathing, eating and exercising.
They also assist the nursing staff with medical tasks like taking blood, monitoring vitals with medical equipment and reporting patient behavior and wellbeing.
Their role is to ensure patients are comfortable and well cared for while under the care of Doctors and Nurses in hospitals, outpatient centers and long-term care facilities.

2. Shift : CNA Eves 3 : 00pm - 11 : 30pm & EOW - 24hrs.
3. Brief Unit Description : 24-Bed Medical Cardiology Unit.
4. Years of Experience Required : 2 years.
5. Skill Set Required : Ability to assist patients with activities of daily living, obtain vital signs, use glucometer, specimen collection, basic electronic documentation, and utilize solid infection control and patient safety practices.
6. Floating Required : Travelers are required to float to applicable units when needed.
7. Rotating Shifts Required : No.
8. Patient Population : Cardiac, Respiratory, Metabolic, Psych, Substance Use Disorder, GU, GI
9. Bed Count : 24.
10. Census : 24.
11. EMR (Charting System) : EPIC.
12. Certifications Required : Massachusetts Certified CNA & AHA BLS.
