In the Operations Specialist role you will :
- Plan nurse arrivals which includes arranging housing and utilities, completing hospital compliance paperwork, and book travel arrangements for the new Shearwater Health nurses.
- Work with the deployment team throughout the planning process to ensure a smooth arrival for the new Shearwater Health nurses.
- Plan 2-3 day itinerary for Regional Client Manager to execute during the nurse arrival including but not limited to, appointments, hospital tours, setting up a US phone number, etc.
- Travel domestically up to 30% for nurse arrivals
- Plan various nurse engagement events throughout the year to promote a sense of community among the Shearwater Health nurses.
- Perform administrative tasks and manage various projects as assigned to support the achievement of business goals / objectives.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficient in the use of business collaboration tools such as Teams, Zoom and SharePoint
- At least 2 years of experience in a service-oriented role
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Detail oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Passion for international cultural environments
- Passion for helping and serving people
- Ability to anticipate problems and identify solutions
