The Home Health Aide (HHA) at Brooklyn United Methodist Church Home, located at 1485 Dumont Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11208, USA, is dedicated to delivering top-tier care to each assigned patient, resident, or client.
This care is provided through daily nursing services in accordance with the assessment and care plan tailored to each individual.
We currently have openings for the following shift :
7 AM to 3 PM

Our healthcare agency is in search of a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to offer exceptional care to our clients within the familiarity of their own homes.
We seek an ideal candidate with a strong passion for assisting others and providing crucial support to those in need. As a Home Health Aide, your role will encompass assisting with daily activities, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and providing companionship.

Responsibilities :
Assist clients in their daily routines, including tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Observe and report any changes in a patient's health status or behavior to the healthcare team.
Support clients with medication administration and perform other necessary medical duties.
Engage in conversation and activities to provide companionship to clients.
Aid clients with mobility and transfers as required.
Assist in meal planning, preparation, and feeding when necessary.
Ensure the proper maintenance of medical equipment.
Requirements :
Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
CPR certification.
Proficiency in medical terminology and procedures.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
Physical stamina and flexibility to lift and move patients.
