Back of House (Kitchen) / Full Time

Typical Shifts :
5 : 30 am - 2 pm, 7 : 00 am - 3 : 00 pm, 8 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm
2 pm - close, 3 : 00 pm - close
Role Summary : To prepare, cook and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, with the key aim of delivering food to our customers within specified timelines.
Back of House positions include : breading table, chicken fryers, cold prep, working the line (reading the screens and preparing sandwiches ), making dough (breakfast), grill, dish.
Usually our kitchen team members are cross-trained across the various Back of House stations. Our Back of House environment is very team oriented and extremely fast paced.
General Responsibilities :
- Prepare, cook and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
- Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times
- Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
- Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the Manager on Duty or Kitchen Supervisor
- Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training to include annual re-certification
- Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Be involved and contribute at team meetings
- Carry out instructions given by the management team and operator
- Protect the interest of the operator
Requirements :
- Previous kitchen experience not required but preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
