Job Summary :
We are seeking a professional and knowledgeable Claims Handler to join our team at Severe Storm Pro. In this role, you will examine the property damage through our sales representatives' photos, create detailed estimates, and negotiate payments with insurance carriers.
You are responsible for ensuring an accurate scope of work is created, delivering a consistent and complete estimate, and maintaining a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, and resource providers involved in mitigation and reconstruction services.
The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong analytical and writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Create estimates for a roofing / exterior restoration company
- Manage and ensure all job files are properly supervised and contain all required documentation
- Submit detailed scope of work to insurance carriers
- Negotiate the scope of work with insurance adjusters
- Provide outstanding customer service skills and nurture all customer relationships
- Explain scope of work to customers and ensure all necessary documentation is complete
- MUST BE LOCATED IN PENNSYLVANIA AND ABLE TO REPORT TO OUR OFFICE LOCATION EVERY DAY!
Qualifications
- Xactimate Software Experience is preferred
- Previous experience as a claims handler is preferred
- High school diploma / GED required, bachelor’s degree is required
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- Experience negotiating claims with insurance carriers
