Registered Nurse (RN) Mental Health

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our healthcare team, serving patients across a variety of settings within the Allina Health Group.
Job Summary : *
16 bed Specialty Care Unit, patients managed by hospitalists, 1 : 3 RN / patient ratios, 1 NA and 1 PCT on per shift. Patient populations include simple sepsis, DKA, pain management, respiratory failure (Bipap and short-term ventilator, < 48 hour), CHF, HTN, MI with no interventions, withdrawal management, renal failure (hemodialysis), conscious sedation management and vasopressor management, strokes with no interventions
- Required Qualifications *
- Associate's or Vocational degree required
- Tier 1 : One year substance abuse or Mental Health experience required
- Tier 2 : One year med-surg experience required
- Licenses / Certifications*
- Licensed Registered Nurse MN Board of Nursing required if working in state of MN upon hire / WI Department of Safety & Professional Services required if working in the state of WI upon hire
- Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below :
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association? Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross?
