Soliant is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team in White Bear Lake, MN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting students' academic and emotional well-being.
Job Description : As a School Psychologist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive psychological services.
Your role will involve assessing students' needs, developing intervention strategies, and promoting a positive learning environment.
Job Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students to address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns.
- Support teachers and staff in implementing effective classroom management and instructional strategies.
- Conduct and interpret assessments, including standardized tests and behavioral observations.
- Promote a positive school climate by addressing bullying, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.
Qualifications :
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Minnesota.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.
