This is a benefit-eligible, full-time position (72 hours every two weeks), working 12-hour Night shifts at Scripps Memorial HospitalEncinitas in the Medical Acute 2 South unit.

We invite you to join Medical Acute 2 South, a 32-bed unit where you will provide primary care to patients dealing with cardiac, pulmonary, diabetic, neurologic, cognitive orthopedic, CIWA, psychiatric issues;
observe progress and update patient charts.
RNs work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care and enjoy a well-managed, cohesive working environment.
Position is eligible for New Hire Retention Incentive up to $7K.

I n order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the followingcriteria must be met :
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offerletter)
- Must remain in original department / specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis andmay result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically notedin your offer letter.

Required Qualifications :
- Current CA RN License
- One (1) year of recent RN experience
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
- Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred Qualifications :
- ACLS Certification
- Recent RN experience in an acute care setting
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Epic EHR experience
