St. Bernard High School (SBHS) has an immediate opening for Head Girls Soccer Coach.
The successful candidate will manage and lead a competitive high school soccer program that includes mentoring and building character, competing at the highest level, designing and executing training programs to position athletes favorably to earn college scholarships, and fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Job Duties
Reporting to the Athletic Director, the Head Soccer Coach is expected to :
- Commit to the personal development of each athlete and assess their prospect to being recruited at the next level.
- Manage the soccer program budget, including the development and execution of a fund-raising plan for the soccer program.
- Plan and organize practice sessions that optimize time, resources, and player potential.
- Provide expert technical and tactical coaching during games to maximize player performance and team success.
- Assess player performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- In collaboration with the athletic director, hire and evaluate all soccer program assistants and lower-level coaches.
- Manage team logistics for all levels of the soccer program, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and equipment, to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance the overall athletic program and foster a culture of excellence.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of athletes at all times, including implementing appropriate safety protocols and responding to injuries.
- Champion sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among athletes to promote a positive team culture.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration to ensure a positive program experience and meet program goals.
- Comport themselves in a manner consistent with the behavioral expectations for coaching at a Catholic High School.
- Understand and comply with all related CIF-SS rules.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience teaching in high school and / or in school leadership.
- Compensation
- Off campus stipend range is $3,000 to $5,000, depending on experience.
- If possessing prior experience and pending an available position :
- Full time teaching range : Salary : $46,021 $79, 235, annual depending on experience.
- Full time administrator range : $70,711 $85,000, annual depending on experience.
