General Summary of Position :

Seeking a part-time / temporary Office Administrator to support a research professor's team of graduate students with travel arrangements, reimbursements, and purchases.

The job requires using the university's financial processes. The position requires a high level of autonomy, critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications (Required) :

Education : Bachelors degree with the following experience and / or willingness to learn about :

  • Concur (Travel and Reimbursement System),
  • UPST BuyWays,
  • UPST Declining Balance Cards,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic office applications
  • will consider candidates with HS Diploma or GED / equivalent and 3-5 years of related experience.

Skills :

Excellent and timely communication across several UMass campuses

Additional Considerations :

  • Ability to multi-task and problem-solve independently in fast-paced office
  • Availability Monday-Friday
  • Interest in learning new processes and systems
  • Must be comfortable with and interested in working with multicultural populations
