Post-surgical setting caring for patients that have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery. You will work closely with the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses for ostomy and wound care needs.

Post-operative patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines. Epic experience REQUIRED Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 22 semi-private roomsUnit staffing description- RN’s, PCA’s, ASA’s, NP’s, Nurse cliniciansType of equipment : wound vacs, traction, iV pumps, chest tubes, NG, trach collars, feeding pumps, , suction, medical air, O2, mini infusers, PCA pumpsDocumentation system : Sorian, MAK (medications), HEV (bed mgmt.

Pyxis, VoceraScheduling requirements : All shiftsFloating policy : to areas with competency. AMC has an internal float team that assists in filling holesPatient Experience requirements : Post surgical Med / Surg,Hospital Specifics-Certifications : Academic Medical Center, Level 1 trauma center (adult);

Children’s Hospital within a hospitalRequested Skill Set : Post-surgical setting caring for patients that have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery.
