Duties
- The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Office of Real Property Tax Services (ORPTS) existing applications which utilize Sybase as they are modernized to a multi-tiered system. Specific tasks include :
- Maintaining existing Sybase tables
- Writing and tuning SQL statements
- Participating in the design of new DB2 and Oracle tables;
- Data mapping;
- Data conversion scripting;
- Production support tasks including analysis or issue, propose and implement solutions, Mentoring less experienced staff and developing technical documentation.

Experience in writing queries (SQL statements) involving joins and sub-queries of tables.

Experience in Oracle and DB2 Data Modeling, creating logical data models, working with databases and experience with XML schemas (definition and automated generation)
