Position : Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health Services
Location : Queens, New York

A renowned academic hospital dedicated to serving the culturally diverse community of Queens is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Director of Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services.

Responsibilities :
As the Director of Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services, you will play a crucial leadership role in our Integrated Outpatient Adult Services and general outpatient psychiatric services.
You will oversee the day-to-day operations of a large multi-disciplinary service that cares for over 5,000 patients annually.
Key responsibilities include :
- Recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of all staff within the Behavioral Health Services department.
- Providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary leadership team to enhance service integration and effectiveness.
- Demonstrating a strong academic interest in teaching and supervising psychiatric residents.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications :
- MD degree and board certification in Psychiatry.
- 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Current New York State Medical License, Medicaid number, and DEA number.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
