Position Title : Multi Unit Manager - Fashion Retail

Employment Classification : Full-Time

Department : Retail

Reports To : Regional Manager

Position Summary : The Zone Manager in the fashion retail industry is responsible for overseeing multiple retail stores within a specific geographic area.

This role involves driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, managing store operations, and leading a team of store managers and associates.

The Zone Manager plays a crucial role in implementing the company’s strategies, achieving sales goals, and maintaining high standards of store performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales and Customer Service :

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve zone sales targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Ensure stores deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalated customer issues.
  • Execute promotional programs and special events to drive sales and customer engagement.

Operational Excellence :

  • Oversee the daily operations of all stores within the zone, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure consistent execution of merchandising standards across all stores.
  • Coordinate the replenishment of merchandise and maintain organized stockrooms.
  • Address and resolve basic IT / register issues, escalating as necessary.

Leadership and Team Development :

  • Serve as the primary leader for the zone, providing direction, coaching, and training to store managers and associates.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that supports high performance and employee development.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Address performance issues promptly and work with HR to implement corrective actions.

Financial Management :

  • Manage zone budgets and financial performance, ensuring profitability.
  • Monitor store expenditures and implement cost-control measures.
  • Prepare for and participate in inventories, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

Safety and Compliance :

  • Ensure all stores comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and correct potential safety hazards.
  • Report workplace injuries and safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, with at least 2 years in a multi-store management role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in retail management systems and basic IT troubleshooting.
  • Ability to travel within the zone as required.
