Job Description :

Big Sun is seeking a dynamic, results-driven professional to develop new business opportunities within commercial solar. As a key player of our sales force, you'll be instrumental in guiding Texas businesses through the clean energy transition.

This role requires a candidate with a proven track record in sales, excellent networking skills and the ability to engage with C-Suite executives.

Responsibilities :

Sales Expertise : Utilize your sales experience to identify and pursue opportunities for clean energy adoption among Texas businesses.

Learning Agility : Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and policy changes related to clean energy to provide informed solutions to clients.

Networking : Cultivate and expand a network of business contacts to generate leads and foster long-term relationships within the Texas business community.

Technical Proficiency : Use basic software tools to create compelling proposals and effectively communicate the value of clean energy solutions to potential clients.

CRM Management : Efficiently manage and maintain a sales pipeline within the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on leads and opportunities.

Attention to Detail : Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in organizing and presenting data, assisting customers in making well-informed decisions about clean energy solutions.

Financial Acumen : Utilize your financial expertise to speak knowledgeably about returns and risks associated with clean energy investments, providing clients with a comprehensive understanding of the financial implications.

Data Organization : Effectively organize and present data to aid customers in the decision-making process, highlighting the benefits of clean energy solutions tailored to their specific needs.

Self-motivation : Demonstrate a proactive and self-motivated approach to achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the team.

Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with colleagues to share insights, and strategies, and contribute to the collective success of the sales team.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Learning agility and the ability to learn new technologies adapt to evolving clean energy trends
  • Excellent networking skills with the ability to engage with C-suite executives
  • Technical proficiency in using basic software tools for proposal creation
  • Experience with CRM systems for effective pipeline management
  • Attention to detail in data organization for customer decision-making
  • Financial acumen to discuss returns and risks of clean energy investments
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed individually and as part of a team
