Overview of the Accounts Receivable Specialist Role :

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing the company's receivables process. Your responsibilities will include :

Processing and recording incoming payments to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Reconciling accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Managing customer account inquiries and resolving any billing discrepancies or issues.

Preparing and sending out invoices and statements promptly.

Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and accurate financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist :

Proven experience in accounts receivable

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Excellent attention to accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
