in Northwest Reno. The facility will offer acute rehabilitation and adult behavioral health services. Our acute rehabilitation services include occupational, speech, and physical therapy for adults recovering from stroke, injury, or another disabling condition.
We offer advanced treatment for a wide range of conditions including stroke, brain injury, amputation, neurological disorders, major multiple traumas and spinal cord and back injuries.
All patients will experience private rooms, have access to a newly renovated therapy gym, and personalized care from our qualified staff.

This position is for our New Rehab Hospital located in Northwest Reno. This position performs a dual function, clinical and managerial.
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinical setting, performs disciplinary actions, and participates in hiring and termination of staff.
Communicates with physicians / Nurse Manager / co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Job Duties / Responsibilities : Provides direct and indirect patient care as necessary, assessing current patient care situations, priorities and needs.
Ability to revise plan of care as indicated by the patient’s response to treatment and evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness.
Demonstrates knowledge of Hospital policy related to : emergency preparedness, fire, hazardous materials and waste, medical equipment, safety, security and utilities and understands role and expected level of participation.
Utilizes standard precautions; complies with OSHA standards pursuant to blood borne pathogen, tuberculosis and hazardous material and waste;
complies with infection control policies including isolation precautions and consistent hand hygiene. Employee takes an active role in performance improvement teams that may include NPSG, HCAHPS and core measures or other process improvement activities.
Attends 75% of department staff meetings.
