Hospitality Manager at Aston Carter in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description We are looking for an Evening Hospitality Manager who is able to work fully on-site in Downtown Boise.
The hours will be from 3pm-11pm. Description : + Overseeing personnel, including receptionists, kitchen staff, and office employees.
- Monitoring employee performance and conducting regular evaluations to help improve customer service. + Collecting payments and maintaining records of budgets, funds, and expenses.
- Welcoming and registering guests once they arrive. + Resolving issues regarding hotel services, amenities, and policies.
- Organizing activities and assigning responsibilities to employees to ensure productivity. + Creating and applying a marketing strategy to promote the hotel's services and amenities.
- Coordinating with external parties, including suppliers, travel agencies, and conference planners. + Evaluating hotel performance and ensuring compliance with health and safety rules.
- Partaking in financial activities, including establishing room rates, setting budgets, and assigning funds to departments.
Skills : Customer service, Property management, Service, administrative support, customer relationship management, Client services, Microsoft office, Additional Skills & Qualifications : -Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm manner.
- Interpersonal skills balancing attention to guest needs and effectively interacting with all employees and leaders. -Must be able to work with others, communicate well, and give directions needed to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Must maintain a positive attitude and interface with guests in a congenial and polite manner. - Maintains a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance.
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays and evening shifts (2nd shift). - Works in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment requiring physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Physical ability to access all areas of the property. Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, frequent walking, sitting for long periods, stretching, bending, and kneeling.
