BASIC PURPOSE : To work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and lead delivery of new and existing solutions that align with business initiatives and corporate strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate as primary resource for a project team. Will be assigned activities by the Technical Owner and liaise with the project team, and principal engineer regarding the project.
- Assist with testing, identifying compatibility gaps, and working with the involved teams to discuss solutions.
- Accountable for completion of assigned deliverables, milestones, and reporting on iteration or task progress.
- Exhibit behaviors of a highly skilled problem solver.
- Ensure technology and service delivery roadmap support the solution strategy.
- Collaborate with Product Owner, customers, developers, and project team to identify and clarify scope of problems / issues in terms of business / systems requirements and processes.
- Support the team's efforts to continuously improve communications and relationships with other delivery teams.
- Engage in challenging the old norms of development to improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
- Support software development teams in applying the Scrum framework.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED
- Strong experience with .NET development
- Strong experience with Cloud development
- Experience with virtualization (Citrix)
- Financial industry experience / knowledge
- Experience and knowledge working on project to convert software to run in a virtualized environment.
- Ability to determine what products and equipment will and won't work with software in a virtualized environment.
- Ability to identify solutions to resolve products that will not work within a virtualized environment.
- Experience working on projects following a Waterfall methodology.
- Experience supporting discovery / analysis phases of projects.
- Strong investigation and trouble shooting skills.
- Proven ability supporting project plans.
DESIRED
- Pre-existing experience developing or using Encore Teller System software.
- Experience working on projects following an Agile methodology.
Work Days : Monday-Friday (Flex time available)
Work Hours : 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. Eastern Time
Employee may be required to work outside normal working hours to provide technical support during product implementation or product support efforts
