LUBE TECHNICIAN

Job Summary :

The Lube Technician at International Kia Orland Park is responsible for performing routine maintenance and service on vehicles and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry located in Orland Hills, Illinois.

This role is an individual contributor and reports to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities :

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks on customer vehicles
• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids
• Replace filters and batteries as needed
• Keep accurate records of services performed
• Communicate with customers regarding recommended maintenance and repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Continuously uphold company safety standards
• Assist with other service department tasks as needed

Requirements :

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a lube technician preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Knowledge of automotive service and maintenance procedures
• Ability to use basic tools and equipment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening
• Must have tools
