Summary :
Supports and coordinates day-to-day activities of nursingpersonnel in patient care units, provides direction to ClinicalStaff, implements work of assigned units, and coordinatesactivities with other patient care units and related departments.
Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to onlong-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to copewith and manage contingencies of clinical nursing.
Makesappropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers tohelp manage the clinical situation.
Responsibilities :

- Organizing and overseeing patient caredelivery during an assigned shift, ensuring proper staffing andsmooth operations of a patient care unit.
- Coaching / counseling individual team members; monitoring andproviding feedback on performance and addressing trainingneeds.
- Documenting daily staffing, operational, andadministrative records; maintaining compliance with governmentalpolicies and procedures.
- Providing direction andsupport to nursing staff demonstrating and promoting respect forthe dignity and rights of every patient;

Requirements : Education / Skills

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing,preferred.
Experience
2 years of clinical patient care experience ina relevant setting.
