Owner Operators Can Expect :
Home daily / Flexible Schedule
Run Local (GA & SC), short haul and regional routes to / from ocean terminals
Drop and hook, no touch freight
Dedicated dispatch support

Requirements :
Job Responsibilities :
- Reviewing dispatchers' instructions before deliveries to prevent any errors or miscommunications, dispatching of loads electronically.
- Strategically planning travel routes to ensure all deliveries are completed promptly.
- Performing inspections of the designated truck before and after each delivery to ensure that it is mechanically sound.
- Maintaining a logbook with an accurate account of the number of hours worked, rest periods, and mileage covered.
- Submitting cargo documents and obtaining POD to confirm receipt of the cargo and uploading the documents into DrayOS lite.
- Organizational skills to plan routes and keep easy-to-read records.
- Navigational skills to develop routes and revise them as needed to avoid delays.
Driver Requirements :
Valid state issued Class A CDL
TWIC card required
Minimum 2 years (ocean container) drayage experience
Must own a tractor that meets SEIDS / DOT requirements
No more than 6 points in last 3 years
Smart phone
Evidence of valid automobile and liability insurance policies
