We are currently seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with a background in labor and employment litigation to join a well-established boutique law firm in a hybrid schedule.
The ideal candidate should have a high level of academic achievement and a minimum of one year of experience in labor and employment litigation.
As an associate on the team, you can expect to collaborate with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and resolve cases favorably.
Associates are trusted to handle aspects of litigation independently, including drafting complaints, motions, and other correspondence, attending depositions and court appearances, and guiding clients through difficult disputes.
Qualifications & Skills :
- 1-5 years of experience with California labor and employment litigation
- Licensed in California and in good standing
- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Experience drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; taking / defending depositions; conducting mediations and negotiations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence
- Ability to integrate feedback and take on increased responsibility
