Position Overview :
Napa Valley Unified School District is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a part-time, virtual basis.
This role involves providing remote speech and language support to students attending a Non-Public School (NPS) within our district.
The position is set for 2 days per week, starting on November 4, 2024, and continuing through June 6, 2025.
Position Details :
- Dates : November 4, 2024 June 6, 2025
- Hours : 15 hours per week, 2 days a week
- Setting : Virtual (Remote)
- Caseload : Supporting students enrolled at a Non-Public School
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide remote speech and language therapy to students, tailored to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations as needed.
- Collaborate with other educators, staff, and parents to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
Qualifications :
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California.
- Previous experience in a virtual or school-based setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
