We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Canton, Ohio. This role is central to our operations and requires a candidate well-versed in customer service and data management.
As part of our team, you will be handling customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, and processing applications, among other responsibilities, in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and update customer records with accuracy and timeliness, capturing essential details from customer interactions.
- Assist in the preparation and verification of order entries and invoices, ensuring communication is clear and efficient within the team.
- Handle troubleshooting issues and liaise with relevant departments to ensure seamless customer service.
- Utilize tools like Microsoft Excel for data entry, updating information, and generating reports.
- Address customer queries about billing information promptly and professionally, taking necessary steps to uphold the positive image of the company.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support sales efforts, participate in meetings, and contribute to sales strategy discussions.
- Maintain an organized and updated database in collaboration with the Sales team.
- Address billing queries and ensure they are handled effectively.
- Take on additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to the role.
- Proficient in answering inbound calls and handling inbound outbound calls in a professional manner
- Proven experience in call center customer service
- Ability to provide superior customer service, including problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Skilled in data entry tasks, with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written communication skills for email correspondence
- Experience with order entry processes and systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets and using formulas
- Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
