Key Result :

Manage and oversees the operations of the facility to ensure timely production and distribution needs are met with planned efficiencies, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Complies with all Company policies and procedures which includes Substance Abuse policy but not limited to.
  • Adhered to all safety and operational practices.
  • Willing to participate in ALL4Zero Safety Program.
  • Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times. Must stay focused on maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Ensures that the operating budget is met with favorable results and spending controls are in place as needed. Monitors daily financials and provides information and explanations as needed for backup.
  • Provides documentation that explains performance-based data of the facility and viable explanations for all requests.
  • Reports directly to the VP Operations and completes projects and tasks as needed.
  • Assumes total and complete responsibility for the facility performance including EBITDA.
  • Creates a viable and attainable fiscal budget.
  • Reviews all quality sampling data and makes recommendations regarding any issues of deficiency that may arise.
  • Assumes responsibility for the overall efficient and on-time delivery of retail goods to all customers.
  • Reviews with management team all bill of material issues and is responsible for establishing the necessary corrections to such, when needed and approved.
  • Provides necessary departments spending limits with spending controls attached on monthly basis.
  • Recommends, drafts and implements CAPEX.
  • Reviews and approves all recommendations for new hires, re-hires, temporary staffing, headcount, and incentive based compensation.
  • Assists direct reports in the necessary efforts to mandate disciplinary actions and counseling.
  • Monitors safety performance / indices rates and works with the Safety Coordinator to improve overall safety performance.

Supports and administers All4Zero Program.

  • Provides support and leverage to all direct reports and staff to ensure that they receive all of the available resources needed to perform their duties.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of production process, materials, and equipment flow path.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of raw materials; their use, handling and storage.
  • Interpret Company policies and procedures to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials.
  • Direct reports include Production Supervisor, Office Manager, Traffic / Warehouse Manager, and Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Actively promote an environment where teamwork is valued and recognized.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and / or Experience :

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong computer skills with the emphasis on Excel, Power Point, and Word.

Language Skills :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
