Overview :
As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
This role requires a compassionate individual who can follow care plans and deliver high-quality care to multiple participants.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and document client health and behavior changes, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities as outlined in care plans.
- Help clients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional support.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Follow care plans and adapt to the needs of each participant.
- Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings as required.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in home health care or a similar setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to float between different clients as needed.
