Facilities And Assets Manager
The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking a dedicated and organized Facilities And Assets Manager in the Office of Quick Start to oversee the maintenance and management of our facilities in the Savannah region. This includes the Advanced Manufacturing Training Center (and annex), the Hyundai Mobility Training Center of Georgia (expected completion in summer 2025), and temporary training site at Lanier Learning Center.
This role involves making repairs, ordering supplies, and tracking inventory to ensure the smooth operation of these locations. The Facilities And Assets Manager will use vendors for complex repairs that require an outside vendor to complete. In addition, the Facilities And Assets Manager will play a key role in maintaining a safe, functional, and efficient environment for all employees and visitors.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Technical school certificate in mechanical and / or electrical construction. Three (3) years of experience in a similar position. Strong knowledge of facility systems and maintenance requirements. Proven experience in facilities repair and management or a similar role. Experience in managing budgets and negotiating with vendors. Proficiency in inventory management and tracking.
Technical Competencies
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
This role may require occasional evening or weekend work to address emergency situations. The Facilities Manager will spend a significant amount of time on their feet and may need to lift or move supplies and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.
