Summary :

Research, plan, and design mining equipment. Coordinate activities involved in the fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical, and hydraulic, products and systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Designs products and systems to interface machines, hardware, Creo Cad preferred.

Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine the feasibility of the design or application.

Knowledge of steel and welding is valuable.

Directs and coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.

Coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment.

Designs products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software. Creo Cad preferred.

Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.

Other Responsibilities :

Requires out-of-town travel.

Education / Experience :

Minimum of Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Engineering from a four-year college or university, with preference given to Mechanical Engineering.

Five or more years of practical design experience, including hydraulic application.
