The organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Security Engineer to join an advanced team in the Santa Barbara, CA area.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in embedded software security, with a strong background in Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
The role will involve working on critical projects that require a deep understanding of security principles and practices.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement embedded software security solutions for aerospace and motion control systems.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses of embedded software.
- Design and implement security features for RTOS-based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of embedded systems throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software security.
- Strong programming skills in C language.
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS). Knowledge of bare metal and embedded Linux is a plus.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools such as Black Duck and Coverity.
- Ability to obtain a secret-level U.S. security clearance.

This position requires 3-4 days per week on-site. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Area.
