After School Group Leader-Part-Time - Fairfield, CA

Locations : Cordelia, David Weir, Dover, Nelda Mundy, Suisun Valley, TK Anna Kyle, TK Fairview, TK Sullivan, and Tolenas

Schedule : Must be available Monday - Friday, 11 : 00 AM - 6 pm

Pay & Benefits :

$21-$23 / hour (pay is based on education and experience)

Here's what you'll need :

Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs

Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations

The district requires all instructional support staff meet paraprofessional qualifications. This means candidates must meet one of the following :

Hold an Associate's degree or higher

Have completed 48 college semester units

OR pass the Paraprofessional (ParaPro) Exam

If a candidate does not meet the educational requirement, they will need to complete the ParaPro testing process prior to being hired or starting in their position.

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll be trained to do the following :

Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!

Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.

Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.

Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
