We are collaborating with a leading AI research lab to enhance advanced AI systems by integrating deep expertise from the field of chemistry. This role centers on developing and evaluating AI models that can replicate real-world workflows across multiple chemistry subdomains, including organic, inorganic, physical, analytical chemistry, and biochemistry .
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate complex problems in chemistry across diverse subfields
- Assess AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, chemical reasoning, and relevance
- Provide detailed written feedback on problem sets, mechanisms, and solutions
- Work asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to refine and improve model performance
- Ensure academic rigor and scientific precision in all chemistry-related content used to train or evaluate AI systems
Ideal Qualifications
PhD in Chemistry or a closely related discipline from a top universityUndergraduate degree completed in the U.S., UK, Canada, or Europe preferredStrong subject-matter expertise across core areas of chemistryExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilityPrior teaching, research, or publication experience is an advantageProject Timeline
