pensation : $50 / HR, Paid Weekly

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced BCBA or Behavior Specialist to join our team in Anoka, MN, for the 2024-2025 academic year.
This role is instrumental in supporting the behavioral and educational needs of middle school students across 2-3 schools.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with diverse behavioral needs and a proven track record of implementing effective behavioral interventions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support students' behavioral and academic goals.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and utilize data to inform intervention strategies.
- Provide direct support and coaching to middle school staff on behavior management techniques.
- Monitor and report on the progress of students' behavior plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
- Ensure pliance with state and federal regulations regarding student behavior and special education.
Qualifications :
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or equivalent experience as a Behavior Specialist.
- Alternatively, candidates with a Special Education teaching license and substantial experience in behavior management will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload across multiple schools.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
