About the role :

The Legal Department at Vistar Media is seeking a Compliance Manager to help the company adhere to various legal standards

and internal policies. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will be at the heart of our compliance efforts while maintaining the flexibility to work with various teams dedicated to safeguarding our operations and reputation.

As Vistar expands globally, you will ensure that we meet regulatory compliance standards and will have the opportunity to create and manage various compliance processes on a worldwide scale.

As part of a growing advertising technology company, you'll navigate a unique environment with cloud systems and digital screens all across the world.

What you'll do :

  • Ensure operations comply with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate compliance vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Provide training on compliance-related topics, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess compliance practices and procedures.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide guidance on compliance matters and ethical issues.
  • Investigate and address compliance issues promptly.
  • Oversee compliance of third-party vendors with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities.

What experience we are looking for :

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, Business Administration or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications (CRISC, CGEIT) are a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, legal, or a related field
  • A solid understanding of computer science principles, cloud AWS, and general IT systems to effectively communicate with technical teams and manage compliance from a technological perspective.
  • Experience using a compliance management system such as Vanta.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar certification preferred.

These considerations can cause compensation to vary. Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position.

The salary range estimate for this position as performed in New York City is $135,000 - $145,000 plus bonus potential, comprehensive health benefits, 401k with company match, and a lifestyle stipend.

The salary range for this position as performed outside of New York City may vary. The actual pay will be at Vistar Media's sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
