We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Infrastructure Technologist to join our team. As an Oracle Infrastructure Technologist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Oracle infrastructure environment.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of Oracle databases and related technologies.
Your expertise in Oracle infrastructure will be crucial in supporting our organization's data management and business operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality database solutions.

What you will do :
Design, implement, and maintain Oracle infrastructure solutions, including database servers, storage systems, and network configurations.
Monitor and optimize Oracle database performance, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with application developers and system administrators to ensure seamless integration of Oracle infrastructure with other systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle infrastructure-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and data corruption.
Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime for enterprise database platforms
Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle and SQL Server technologies and best practices and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
Conduct regular system audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures.
Collaborate with vendors and external partners to evaluate and implement new Oracle and SQL infrastructure solutions.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and knowledge sharing.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge transfer and skill development.
What you need :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS), such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server,
Experience with database design, normalization, and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with database security best practices and tools.
Proven experience as an Oracle Infrastructure Technologist or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of Oracle infrastructure components, such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM), and Oracle Data Guard.
Proficiency in Oracle database backup and recovery techniques, including RMAN and Oracle Flashback.
Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and managing Oracle infrastructure.
Knowledge of cloud-based database technologies, such as Azure SQL Database
Experience in Microsoft SQL, with at least 5 years of experience managing large-scale SQL Server databases.
Experience with database design, normalization, and optimization techniques.
Proficiency in SQL scripting and query optimization.
Familiarity with database security best practices and tools.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Not a must, but a plus :
Experience with Oracle Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting is a plus
