We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ophthalmic / Optometric Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in eye care, possess excellent soft skills, and be committed to providing top-notch patient care.
This role involves working closely with our optometrists and ophthalmologists to ensure a high standard of service and care for our patients.
Pay :
experienced MAs $20-$22
experienced Ophthalmic techs : $23- $24.50
Key Responsibilities :
- Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Conduct patient workups, including medical history and preliminary tests.
- Perform visual acuity tests to assess patients' vision.
- Measure intraocular pressure (IOP) or eye pressure.
- Conduct fundus exams and cataract evaluations.
- Perform vision exams and refractions.
- Assist with minor in-office procedures.
- Refer patients to Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) for major procedures.
- Manage a high patient volume.
Schedule :
- General working hours are between 7 : 00 AM and 4 : 30 PM.
- Patient schedules vary slightly, with the earliest days typically being Wednesdays. Location :

Qualifications :
- Clinical experience in both Ophthalmology and / or Optometry
