Must live 75 miles away from facility. Shift is 7a-7p, every other weekend required. Required : BLS, NIH, 2 years experience.
Type of unit : Orthopedics, Spine, General Post op. Patient population : Adults. Top 10 Diagnosis / Procedures : Total Hip / Knee / Shoulder Replacement, Spinal Fusion, Fracture repair Lower extremity, TURP, Osteomyelitis, medical overflow.
Common Equipment : Dynamap, Walkers, Gaitbelts, Stump shrinker / protector, Knee Immobilizer, JP drains, Hemovacs, wound vac, three way foley with bladder irrigation, and bladder scanner.
Required Skills : IV insertion, PICC management, Wound Vac management, Feeding tubes, trach care, tele interpretation.
