Software Sales Public Relations & Investor Relations
Our client is a world leader that provides communication solutions and network services. They are seeking to hire an Account Executive responsible for prospecting to identify new business opportunities and promoting growth within their digital technology and platforms.
The position will involve outbound communication to qualified leads to educate clients and sell them an entire suite of products and solutions.
This is a REMOTE role; must live in the Boston area.
Seeking Candidates with Sales backgrounds in a similar industry / competitor.
Responsibilities :
- Meet / exceed sales quotas
- New Business development and management (prospect and develop new clients and relationships)
- Build a strong pipeline; overcome objections, negotiate and close new business
- Manage sales cycle; prospecting to close
- Prospect through outbound communication to qualified leads
- Establish and maintain client relationships
- Become the trusted advisor to prospective clients for their solution / product needs
- Articulate the value proposition of solutions and products; make recommendations based on needs
- Collaborate with other sales professionals and SME’s to assist with closing deals
- Keep well-informed of industry trends, technological and process changes, new developments, services etc.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Min. 3+ years Software Sales within Public Relations and / or Investor Relations
- Experience selling a digital platform, PR and / or IR
- Experience prospecting, cold-calling and closing large deals
- Hunter mentality; new business development
- Documented Sales Success of meeting / exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM
- Ability to travel as needed within territory
Offering :
- Base Salary $85,000
- Year 1 @ plan $120,000+
- Uncapped commissions and bonus potential
