Culinary Manager Responsibilities :
Managing and overseeing all levels of the kitchen team.Maintaining food quality, safety, & sanitation standards / adhering to all local health regulations.Execute Menu while ensuring consistency and proper cooking techniques.Training and mentoring kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality.Managing kitchen budgets, BOH financials, labor costs, and controlling food costs while maintaining excellent quality.Work hand in hand with the kitchen team to ensure the delivery of quality products in both catering / events and the restaurant.Interviewing, Hiring, scheduling, motivating, retaining, disciplining when needed, and setting a positive culture of teamwork, quality and consistency.Culinary Manager Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Culinary Management in a Full service, upscale environment.Experience utilizing kitchen / restaurant software and purchasing / management systems.Able to manage costs and have a good understanding of inventory controls and financials.Strong organizational skills, leadership, and problem-solving skillsTeam player with the ability to collaborate at all levels.Good communication skills / able to participate in community events and show professionalism and hospitality with staff and guests.
