They are currently seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead their Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) account based in the Washington, DC area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital transformation, particularly in areas such as Application / Software Development, SaaS / PaaS Implementation, DevSecOps, AI / ML, RPA, Cybersecurity and Privacy.
This is a full-time opportunity and hybrid in Arlington, VA.
Technical Program Manager Responsibilities :
- Develop and nurture relationships with prospective CBP clients
- Provide consulting services to CBP customers in various technical areas
- Support delivery, customer management, recruitment and sales efforts within the CBP account
- Lead customer delivery, sales pipeline development, capture activities and technical solution development
- Collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and colleagues
- Utilize knowledge of government IT contracting and acquisition trends
- Shape proposal strategies to maximize success rates
- Manage multiple capture actions for IT opportunities
Technical Program Manager Requirements :
- Active CBP clearance
- 10+ years of experience in IT services capture, business development and proposal development, preferably within the DHS market
- Strong relationships and delivery experience within the CBP market
- Experience with capture management and proposal development
- Team management experience
- Knowledge of CBP customer mission requirements and IT buying habits
- Strong leadership, ethical business practices and customer understanding
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
