Georgia Licensed Architectural Historian

A company is looking for an On-Call Architectural Historian (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Conduct historical research in local, state, and regional libraries and archives

Contribute to historic resources surveys and assessments, including site inspections and evaluations

Prepare historic property inventory forms and assist with regulatory document preparation

Qualifications

Master's degree in a related field and 1+ years of professional experience

Must have a valid driver's license and pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check

Knowledge of the history and architectural history of Georgia and / or other southeastern states is preferred

Experience with NHPA Section 106 and GDOT architectural history practices is advantageous

Familiarity with research on Georgia's Natural, Archaeological, and Historic Resources Information System (GNAHRGIS) is a plus
