The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the HVAC crew, handling trouble calls and maintenance tasks for facility equipment. This working supervisor role includes assisting HVAC technicians with advanced repairs and serves as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist in scheduling and planning HVAC maintenance to support production changes and new equipment installations.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating and refrigeration equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Estimate materials and equipment needed for timely project completion.
- Inspect equipment and oversee work to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Prepare documentation, including requisitions and purchase orders.
- Transport tools and supplies to job sites as needed.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and production supervisors to minimize operational disruptions.
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- 5+ years in HVAC
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 8 years of leadership or related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; capable of writing reports and communicating effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and email; able to learn new computer applications.
