Job Description
GateSource HR is collaborating with a client in the heavy equipment industry to find a Director of I.T. This strategic leader will be responsible for guiding the company's technological direction, ensuring that technological innovation is in line with business objectives, and leading the successful implementation of technology solutions.
This role is based in Mexico and requires relocation .
Key Responsibilities :
- Formulate and implement the technology strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall vision and mission.
- Lead the research and assessment of new technologies, identifying opportunities for technological innovation or improvements in products and services.
- Manage the planning and execution of software and technology development projects to enhance the customer experience.
- Define and maintain the technological architecture, ensuring that systems are scalable, secure, and efficient.
- Work closely with other business leaders, as well as internal teams and external vendors, to drive technological initiatives.
- Attract, develop, and retain top technical talent, building strong and effective teams.
- Ensure the security of information and the integrity of technological systems.
- Identify and manage technological risks, anticipating potential issues, and proposing effective solutions.
Requirements
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are highly valued.
- Experience : Extensive experience in technical leadership roles, preferably within technology or innovative industries.
- Technical Knowledge : Deep knowledge of software development, technology architectures, agile methodologies, and emerging tech trends.
- Management Skills : Proven ability to manage projects, teams, and technical resources effectively.
- Communication Skills : Excellent ability to convey technical concepts to clearly non-technical audiences.
