We are looking for a Sales Representative who sells products by maintaining and expanding the customer base. The representative will be accountable for achieving the regional sales and profitability goals, as well as providing market feedback for the support and development of new products within the Hipotronics product line.

This is a remote role with a preference for candidates located in the mid-west region, but we are open to other locations such as NV, CA, TX, MA, PA, NY, and IL to ensure easy access to major airports.

Salary : $100k plus sales incentive

A Day In The Life

  • Attain the yearly sales goals for the territory.
  • Operate as a teammate within the Sales department, pitching in where needed.
  • Generate price proposals and quotations for customers.
  • Provide technical documentation for the quotes.
  • Interface with marketing and engineering on technical issues.
  • Provide market feedback and write technical specifications for new products.
  • Correspond with customers, agents, and regional managers as needed.
  • Identify and report issues that may impact our ability to meet customer requirements.
  • Participate in technical symposia and trade exhibitions.
  • Provide written and oral reports as needed.
  • Promote a safe working environment and follow all established Company safety policies, procedures, and practices.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Engineer (EE preferred) or business background in a technical field with a minimum of 5 years in technical or sales roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact and maintain effective relationships with other employees.
  • Excellent sales and application skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills; Excel, Word, and creating PDF files required.
  • Willingness to help with different aspects of the business; a team player.
  • Ability to think independently and help solve problems to support our customers.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 25-45%, mostly by air.
